CodeRed Weather Warning Notification

From the city of Durham:

2/14/2012 10:04:00 AM EST - This is the Durham Emergency Communications Center with an important message for all residents and businesses located in Durham County.

We have selected CodeRED Weather Warning, an automatic severe weather notification service, to alert citizens in the path of severe thunderstorms, flash floods and tornados.

Citizens must register to receive these notifications by going to the City of Durham website, clicking on the CodeRED Link located under Popular Sire Resources and click on the link entitled "Residential, Business, and Weather Warning Data Update Page. and enter contact information. At sign up you may select which types of warnings you’d like to receive. There is no direct charge to you for this service.

If you know of anyone who did not receive this email or a telephone call from CodeRed and who lives in Durham County please encourage them to visit the City website and enter their information.

Those without Internet access, are encouraged to contact a friend or family member to help add your contact information. You can also call Durham One-Call at 919-560-1200 for assistance. Again, that number is 919-560-1200.
