City may start charging for Ninth Street Parking

From Ninth Street Dance:

Help Keep Ninth Street Parking FREE
In a November 4th public meeting, the city council will consider a staff recommendation to begin charging for parking in the Ninth Street area. Details are still sketchy, but meters may go into the main parking lot on Ninth Street as early as March 1, 2014; street parking would also be metered at a later date. If you don't want to have to pay to park when you come to class or shop on Ninth Street, please e-mail Mayor Bell and the city council before Nov. 4.
You can find a sample e-mail message and contact info here; feel free to modify it as you wish. Thanks!
